Marlo by Candle Light

Done this a while back in Corel Painter. I don't really remember what brushes I used, but I think they may have been Acrylic and the pallet knife.

It was a quick painting which just took a couple of hours. I wanted a very painterly look so I kept the detail to a minimum, and kept the brush strokes loose and sloppy.

Used a Deviantart Stock image as reference.

You can purchase a print from here.

Selma

Painted with a DeviantArt Stock image for reference. Using a Wacom tablet with combination of Corel Painter X and Photoshop CS. It took me about 3 or 4 hours to complete which is fairly quick.

It looks a bit more photographic than I intended, I was originally going for a more painterly look, but it's easy to get carried away and continue adding detail.

I have attached a close-up here for anyone who might be interested in seeing the brush strokes. You can also click on the main image for a slightly bigger version.
