Selma

Painted with a DeviantArt Stock image for reference. Using a Wacom tablet with combination of Corel Painter X and Photoshop CS. It took me about 3 or 4 hours to complete which is fairly quick.

It looks a bit more photographic than I intended, I was originally going for a more painterly look, but it's easy to get carried away and continue adding detail.

I have attached a close-up here for anyone who might be interested in seeing the brush strokes. You can also click on the main image for a slightly bigger version.

Give Me Your Heart

This is one of my personal favourites.
Done using a combination of Corel Painter X and Photoshop CS. A DeviantArt stock image was used for reference.

A print of this particular piece is available from my DeviantArt Print Account.

Behind These Green Eyes

This portrait was done from a stock image. I wanted this one to have a hint of caricature style about it, so I slightly over exaggerated the features.
I used the Acrylic Brushes in Corel Painter X and Photoshop CS used for this one.

You can purchase this as a print from my DeviantArt Prints Account, along with some of the other works featured here.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson.

This took about 8 hours to finish. I used the Oil Bristle Brushes and a customized Blender Blush.
I trace a rough outline of all the features then take sample colours from the original reference photo and use them to create an under-painting. I then zoom in really close and start adding all the details.

You can purchase this as a print from my DeviantArt Prints Account, along with some of the other works featured here.

Flower Girl

Referenced from a stock image. I was going for an antique look with this one.
Done in Corel Painter X using the Acrylic Brushes and Palette Knife. I finished it off with a craquelure and canvas texture, just to add to that antique feel.
In all it took about 4 hours.
